Bem-Vindo: Welcome to the incredible country of Portugal. Small, yet mighty and very musical, here, the singers touring with Mr. Keith Hancock are in for a treat.
The choir tour dates are now Friday, April 2, through Saturday, April 10, 2027. We’re holding two sets of flights for up to 90 travelers. Adult singers or students traveling with family can also travel land-only.

Who you travel with matters. The 2027 Musica Portugal choir tour is personalized for Mr. Hancock’s performance group: singers and alumni from Tesoro Choirs traveling as the Orange County Youth Chorale (OCYC).

    Overnight Flights from LAX to Lisbon

    Air-Land Groups fly with American Airlines + TAP Portugal
    Both Air-Land groups depart from LAX on Friday, April 2, 2027, and arrive in Lisbon, Portugal the next day. Land-Only travelers meet the tour in Lisbon on Saturday, April 3.

    Lisbon: Visit & Performance

    Welcome to Lisbon. All travelers meet in Portugal’s capital city for the tour start on Saturday, April 3, 2027. Sightseeing, a tasting of traditional pasteis de nata, two dinners, and the first performance will take place in Lisbon. Family & Friends travelers can choose between two hotels here.

    Porto: Visit & Concert

    Sightseeing (on foot and by boat) is complemented by a highlight concert in a stunning venue in Porto.

  • Wednesday, April 7 + Thursday, April 8, 2027

    Mafra/Cascais: Portoguese Countryside Experiences & Concert

    Take the roads less traveled as you venture into the heart of Portugal, exploring Cascais and Mafra, plus Aldeia de Mata Pequena. The farewell concert will take place on Thursday, April 8, in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Mafra, likely at the National Palace, the Basilica or the Museum of Music. A countryside feast with the so-called shadow tour travelers is also planned during these two days. Family & Friends travelers can choose between two hotels in Cascais and one hotel in Mafra. Space in the Mafra hotel is very limited.

    You’ll be back in Lisbon for more exploring, shopping, and a fun farewell event for OCYC.

    Air-Land travelers return from Lisbon LIS today with same day arrival at LAX.

Choir Tour Packages at a Glance

During the pre-registration process, all packages show as "not available", but by selecting the one that fits you, you'll be added to the waitlist for it. Turning in the $250 non-refundable deposit per traveler (check to Mr. Hancock) confirms your registration, and once we receive the go-ahead for the touring choir to travel, we'll open up the complete registration. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
